Comp 101 Exploring the Internet
Establishing Computer Accounts

Three Computer IDs will be used in this class:

  1. A Universal ID that allows you to log onto and use the computers in labs and libraries around campus.
  2. A CS lab ID that allows you to log onto and use the computers in the Damen Hall labs
  3. An Orion ID that allows you to publish your web page on the university's Orion server

If you do not already have an Orion or Universal ID, complete an ID request form available at any Campus Computing Center or online at http://www.luc.edu/infotech/forms/idrequest.html

Please note that your universal and Orion IDs will not necessarily be the same.

Damen Hall Lab Accounts

Username= first letter of your firstname followed by first 6 letters of your lastname.

Example: Mike Davidson; username= mdavids

Password= nxxxxxx Where xxxxxx = the last 6 digits of your PID

*Your can find your PIDs on your tuition bill or on QuikCHEK.

Note: I do not know your PID, nor can I change your password if you forget it.
