Creating Graphics To truly customize your web pages, you may want to experiment with creating graphics or text using a graphics program. The most popular program for this purpose is Adobe Photoshop, which is only available to art students at the Lake Shore Campus. However, there is a open source software program called GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) that is very similar to Photoshop. It is a freely distributed piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. Many people find it extremely useful in creating logos and other graphics for web pages. GIMP is easy to download.
