Family information: I was born in Neenah, Wisconsin in 1964 to Glenn Grant, a machinist/gunsmith, and Dorothy Grant, a homemaker. In 1972, my family moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where I spent the rest of my childhood and adolescence. I have an older brother, Tim, a computer network administrator and former Major in the U.S. Army. In July, 1990, I married Steve Haworth, a fellow Marquette alum. Steve is a Biomedical Engineer/Research Scientist at the Medical College of Wisconsin/VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1997, our son, Marcus Timothy Haworth, was born in Waukegan, Illinois. Currently, Marc’s aliases include Captain Hook, Sir Lancelot, St. George, General Grant -- Union Defender, and Green Army Man.
Hobbies and interests: Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger football. What else is there? (Ok, in the off season, I enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, canoeing, visiting Chicago’s outstanding museums with our son, sports of all kinds (I am a “fan”), travel, and the theatre. Did I say I like to fish?)
Favorite Spot: At home with my family. After that, anywhere in a canoe on a freshwater lake with my family, followed closely by any hiking trail in the mountains that does not require specialized climbing equipment.
