Mr. Chung
is a highly motivated professional with a diverse technical and process
improvement background including CAP, WorkOut, and Six Sigma. He
brings forth a strategic approach to the development of the Investment
Banking & Financial Markets Club. Mr. Chung received his
undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona State
University in 1999. Mr. Chung spent a significant portion of his
career with GE. He received the GE Corporate Student Intern/Co-op
award during undergrad. This led to becoming a Nuclear Reactor
Vessel Tooling Design Engineer in GE's Nuclear Energy division. He
was then promoted to Nuclear Account Manager where he was responsible
for technical support to customers, managed GE projects, and oversaw all
nuclear site safety updates of the field engineers. Before grad
school, he was promoted again to Asia Pacific Region Six Sigma Black
Belt in GE's Power Systems, Installation and Field Services located in
the Asia Pacific. Following his MBA, he received a position as
Director of Strategic Deployment for Power Great Lakes, Inc.. He
is responsible for training the entire company on the Six Sigma DMAIC
process methodology and creating a self sustaining process improvement
DNA. He possesses a sound understanding of retirement planning
from his several years of personal investing.
