MBA 1st Year

Mr. O'Brien is pursuing an MBA concentrating in finance and will be graduating in May ’08.  He has worked diligently throughout the duration of undergrad while performing well in both his classes and his business venture.  His passion for the sport of lacrosse convinced him to form his own lacrosse company (OB Lacrosse) in 2005.  He was able to finance, design, manufacture, and market his lacrosse sticks.  After graduation, he would love to continue operating OB Lacrosse.  Another goal he has is to excel at investing his own money and possibly the money of other people or corporations while working at a respected financial firm here in Chicago.  He believes that the Investment Banking & Financial Markets Club can help him achieve some of his goals.  Through membership, he hopes to gain more financial experience and a more comprehensive understanding of financial markets and investment banking.
