Mr. Gabuzda
has both the professional and academic experiences that allow him to
contribute significantly to the Investment Banking & Financial Markets
Club. He completed his undergraduate studies in May of 2003 with
an Industrial Engineering degree from Purdue University. After two
years of working in logistics at Tom Zosel Associates, he initiated his
career in corporate finance by pursuing his MBA from Loyola University
Chicago. During business school, he held an internship with Blaige
& Company, an investment banking firm focused in the plastics,
packaging, and chemicals industries, as well the position he held in the
Corporate Finance Consulting Group at Blackman Kallick, a public
accounting and consulting firm. His experience as an analyst at
Blaige & Co. provided him with a firm understanding of investment
banking. On a daily basis, he was able to participate in all
stages of a corporate merger, including pitch presentations, market and
industry research, confidential memorandums, and the identification of
potential buyers. Upon completion of his internship with Blaige &
Co., he accepted an internship with Blackman Kallick as a consultant in
the Corporate Finance Consulting Group. He has since accepted a
full-time position with the company and will be working in a vast array
of areas within corporate finance, including mergers & acquisitions,
business valuation, and business planning and financing. Mr.
Gabuzda has accepted an Associate position with Merrill Lynch Capital.
