Mr. Gabuzda has both the professional and academic experiences that allow him to contribute significantly to the Investment Banking & Financial Markets Club.  He completed his undergraduate studies in May of 2003 with an Industrial Engineering degree from Purdue University.  After two years of working in logistics at Tom Zosel Associates, he initiated his career in corporate finance by pursuing his MBA from Loyola University Chicago.  During business school, he held an internship with Blaige & Company, an investment banking firm focused in the plastics, packaging, and chemicals industries, as well the position he held in the Corporate Finance Consulting Group at Blackman Kallick, a public accounting and consulting firm.  His experience as an analyst at Blaige & Co. provided him with a firm understanding of investment banking.  On a daily basis, he was able to participate in all stages of a corporate merger, including pitch presentations, market and industry research, confidential memorandums, and the identification of potential buyers.  Upon completion of his internship with Blaige & Co., he accepted an internship with Blackman Kallick as a consultant in the Corporate Finance Consulting Group.  He has since accepted a full-time position with the company and will be working in a vast array of areas within corporate finance, including mergers & acquisitions, business valuation, and business planning and financing.  Mr. Gabuzda has accepted an Associate position with Merrill Lynch Capital.

Blaige & Co. is an Investment Bank specializing in the plastics, packaging, and chemicals industries.
• Performed valuation analyses including DCF, merger, and comparable company.
• Created confidential memorandums and management presentations; orchestrated due diligence process.
• Performed proprietary research on M&A activity in specific industries for purpose of writing and
publishing Deal Briefings.
• Developed and maintained database to track and categorize all M&A activity within appropriate industries
between 2002 and present.
