ArleneĀ  Kock is an attorney who has been practicing family law in California for over 31 years.



Her expertise covers all aspects of divorce and related issues. During her tenure as an attorney, Arlene Kock has handled child custody, child support, spousal support, divorce, contempt and post judgment motions in courts throughout California. Arlene regularly appears in county courts in the Bay area. She has represented clients in litigation concerning family law in jurisdictions in Northern California and as far south as San Diego.

Arlene Kock is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association. She is a member of numerous volunteer committees of the Association, including as a board of director for the ACBA.

Ms. Kock has also handled cases of plaintiff personal injury, general civil litigation, juvenile law and felony and misdemeanor criminal law. Moreover, Arlene Kock has also been listed in Who's Who of American Law and Who's Who of Outstanding Women. During the course of her career, she has gained experience as a litigator and has both jury and non-jury trial experience.

Ms. Kock is a member of both the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA). She is also a former member of the ACBA board of directors and chair of the Lawyer Referral Service.

Ms. Kock served as Judge Pro Tem and court Commissioner Pro Tem in the Alameda County and Contra Costa County courts for more than a decade. In 1997she received a commendation of appreciation from the Alameda County Courts for her service as Temporary Judge.
